What's the point of talking about the future? They don't talk about the future, they make it!
The Strugatsky Brothers

Our entire vast world is united by one great force, one inexorably flowing river, which is as unpredictable as it is unstoppable. All people, all living and non-living swim in its current, experiencing its peaceful murmur and raging, frightening splashes of the river called Time. As at all times, humanity is experiencing breakthroughs in some areas, and in some easy successes, and sometimes, unfortunately, failures. Development is progressing by leaps and bounds, and what a couple of decades ago might have seemed mystical, is now quite a common thing for us. However, unresolved problems in our world still concern all spheres of life. I think we will find the right solutions in the future. For example, the idea of colonization of planets, the future of the Earth, and in general a promising place of residence of mankind is already being discussed. In my reasoning, I want to assume: where and how our descendants will live.
Of course, there is a question of a large increase in the human population on our home planet, many consider this one of the main possible global problems of the future. I think we can solve this problem in several ways. Firstly, by the year 2100 under consideration, most of the planet's land will be built up with cities. Perhaps there will be surface cities! On platforms made of light, but durable material, perhaps something similar to titanium or composites, fiberglass, from which the wings of Russian MS-21 aircraft are now made. The construction of houses will develop, methods and architectural principles will change. The houses will be similar to our skyscrapers, only it will already be a familiar architectural solution for both residential and working buildings. This will allow you to take up less space on the plane and at the same time use the earth's area to the maximum. This will allow us to use new materials for construction, lighter, capable of withstanding heavy loads and difficult weather conditions. Such independence from the surface and environmental conditions will allow us to provide housing for all people on the planet, even if there are several times more of them than now. The undeveloped areas will be largely used for agriculture and plant cultivation. With the help of fully automated production and new discoveries and inventions in the field of chemistry and biochemicals, we will be able to achieve rapid growth of the crops we need, get more useful fruits, I am sure by that time, people will stop being wary of genetically modified products, and the additives themselves will become completely safe, perhaps they can even be called natural.
I think many people will have questions about ecology in the event of such a total urbanization of the planet. I hasten to reassure you – of course, the eco-system will be preserved in cities, many parks and maybe even small forests, animals, the safety of people and forest inhabitants will always be monitored, which will allow both to live harmoniously. Naturally, the reserved places and the so-called "wonders of nature" will be preserved by mankind and will not allow themselves to violate their condition, trying to maintain and preserve these places with all their might, because for them, as for us, this is a great heritage.
Living in the cities of 2100 will be incomparably more comfortable than in our time. Now there is a smart home system, and in the future it will be much more global: a smart street, or maybe a smart city, where everything will be automated. Everything you need can be obtained in a couple of simple steps, how to order delivery for us. This can be done at terminals where any, even unthinkable, product will be available for ordering, and chips may be used. Just open the Internet in an augmented reality device with a voice command and find or order anything, see the route to any point in the city, find out information about any street, house, institution.
If you look at other everyday fragments of life in the near future, I think people will come to practical apartments, abandoning private houses. The apartment will not be minimalistic, but there will be no excess in it. the rooms will be suitable for most everyday household activities, and a person will be able to do whatever he wants in any of them. The augmented reality system we have already touched on will help in this, it can be used in entertainment, in watching movies, in everyday life, in education and education, as well as in work, especially in design or construction. With the help of this technology, it will be virtually possible to create a model of anything, and see how it would look in reality, and adjust it as subtly as possible, which will suit even the most demanding, which will allow you to create new designs for both houses and any furniture, any clothes and whatever the human mind desires.
Also, in virtual reality with instant access to it, it will be possible to give orders to the smart home, view any statistics of devices, their serviceability, condition, make diagnostics that will reveal a breakdown in case of its occurrence and even preventive maintenance. More and more electronics will appear in the rooms themselves, everything will be connected to a single network without an abundance of outlets. This will be helped by the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction, which is now used in wireless charging in 2022, and in a few decades will allow you to connect any electronic devices wirelessly.
Everything will be easy to manage, the whole house will be filled with the necessary electronics for any whim of the residents. Not just "underfloor heating", but underfloor heating according to your temperature, thermal imaging sensors connected to the heating system will help in this. Not a "food processor" for slicing vegetables, but a "kitchen terminal", which, with the help of neural networks and an Internet connection, will independently order ending products, cook and heat food. As music services now recommend performers to us for listening, the kitchen terminal will offer: "Yesterday you were interested in Italian pasta. Let's try bouillabaisse today?" Thanks to a library that can fit into a chip the size of a fingernail, you can access all the knowledge of mankind through an advanced version of the modern Internet. Any new information appearing in the world will be instantly delivered there, there will be an opportunity to get acquainted with any culture, remotely visit any museum in the world for free, and it will feel like a full-fledged "offline" experience with connection to virtual reality of all organs of perception. All cultural organizations will be sponsored by the state, so that everyone has no restrictions, developing their horizons. In cities there will be buildings for sports classes, sections, as now, however, a person will also be able to sign up for online training (as well as with full immersion, as well as museums) with instant feedback from the coach, optionally even feeling their presence with the help of virtual reality connected to all senses.
Moving around the world-2100 will be more environmentally friendly than it is now. The harm to the environment will be reduced to zero, internal combustion engines will certainly be replaced with electric, solar-based or hydrogen. The exhaust system will either be waste-free, or the emissions will be only from the safest substances.
Ground transport is unlikely to be completely abandoned, but perhaps no less common "levitation transport" will appear. There will be no wheels familiar to us or their upgraded "descendants", but there will be airbags that will be able to keep cars above the ground. Perhaps "zero gravity tunnels" will be developed, where only jet propulsion can be used in a space with zero acceleration of free fall and zero weight.
Ships and planes will certainly be improved in the field of safety, without breakdowns or with their instant correction, and they will also be much more comfortable and roomy, capable of moving a huge number of people in a matter of hours. New skin materials, engine, turbines, route planning systems and autopilot, which will not require human pilots. This will eliminate the human factor in disasters.
Trade will become completely different from ours, if we imagine that the economic system will remain the same, then I think that only the method of payment will change, material money will leave our lives, virtual money will remain, and most likely, uniform for all mankind. If we assume a change in the entire system, I would assume that money will disappear in principle and everyone will receive "according to needs and capabilities", i.e. a person will always have everything he needs and will never be deprived of it, and luxury goods can be obtained for a good job or for some achievements that it will stimulate people to develop and benefit society.

Unearthly life seems to us now quite possible over time, there are assumptions that soon a person will visit Mars, and great hopes are pinned on the red planet in terms of permanent life on it, and they are looking in every possible way for solutions to problems that prevent us from colonizing it. In the future, at the turn of the century, the 21st and 22nd spaceflight ships will use the latest technologies of movement, new fuel, streamlined material, lightweight construction of fireproof insulating materials, the possibility of refueling at many stations, as well as additional supplies on them along the way, which will allow not to load the ship with extra supplies and resources. But the first planet where a person can stay for a long time will be the moon, or rather the areas where we will build lunar research bases. They will use the best technologies to maintain a safe environment for humans, an artificial atmosphere inside, possibly a gravity generator based on magnetism and on the principle of magnetic fields using a magnet in the heart of the base, which will create a magnetic field, and wearing special suits or at least parts of clothing that are extremely sensitive to magnetism perhaps, for the uniform distribution of such gravity, it will be necessary to build similar buildings in the form of a ring, food will be transported by ships, and it will be well preserved or evacuated so as not to succumb to spoilage from time to time, which will allow you to stay on the Moon for a long time, without any problems in food. Although there will not be ordinary citizens on a permanent basis, there will be excursions and also research staff who study our satellite.
Also by that time we will be able to start colonizing Mars, sending permanent expeditions and detachments to install equipment and materials that will slowly turn Mars into a planet, which can become a shelter for many people, in case of any need for it. Also, for sure, every planet will already have orbital stations, and the solar system itself will be heavily studied by us, and it is more than clear which planets can be inhabited and which cannot, because our ships will begin to try to go beyond the outer space that we can explore now, and continue to search for new planets, worlds, universes that can give us new knowledge about the world and be used for the benefit of humanity, in which we are now more than ordinary inhabitants of one planet. By that time, humanity will be able to confidently plan and begin the expansion of other planets, but still, they will still have to…
This is how I see our future, I am sure that despite all the current problems, and perhaps even catastrophes, humanity will be able to understand all the mistakes as before, and correct everything, continuing to move forward again, to conquer new horizons and peaks again, together, without discord and disagreement, "to decide their fate among the stars..."
